Responsible stewardship
Treat public dollars with care, make priorities clear, and support transparent budgeting that residents can understand.
A neighbor. A listener. A doer.
I’m running for City Council because I believe honest work, thoughtful collaboration, and practical action can make our shared future brighter.
Meet Kathleen
I’m a mom, a community volunteer, and a Vice President of Sales who understands the responsibility that comes with budgets, priorities, and spending decisions. I am honest, direct, and hardworking—and the people who have worked alongside me know that I follow through.
From helping lead the Bay City Pearl and Oyster Festival to supporting our parent group and making the lion’s share of the lasagnas for Lasagnathon for the last three years, I have always felt compelled to serve. I don’t seek notoriety. I simply believe that when people work hard and work together, we can make good things happen.
A practical platform
I will listen first, ask direct questions, and work toward solutions that are responsible, realistic, and rooted in residents’ needs.
Treat public dollars with care, make priorities clear, and support transparent budgeting that residents can understand.
Make it easier for residents to know what is happening, why decisions are being made, and how they can participate.
Bring residents, local organizations, businesses, and the City together to solve problems and expand opportunity.
Plan for Bay City’s future while protecting the character, natural beauty, and close-knit community we value.
Keep essential services, roads, water systems, emergency planning, and long-term maintenance at the center of responsible decisions.
“Good local government should feel accessible, accountable, and connected to the people it serves.”
A record of showing up
I know meaningful work rarely happens alone. It takes people willing to roll up their sleeves, listen to one another, and keep going when the work gets hard.
Let’s build Bay City’s future together
I want to hear what you love about Bay City, what concerns you, and what you believe our City Council should prioritize.
